But no, this article is about Ladies who Shoot rather than the other reading. Or perhaps, even more importantly, Ladies who don't Shoot, but might like to.

Preamble 

There are, we believe, a lot of Gun-widows who don't think that shooting is for them because the people who do it are like their husbands - ahem! Sometimes, they made a decision a long time ago not to start shooting, perhaps before they knew too much about the sport. 

Well, Valerie knows all about those things. But now - she shoots! And whisper it quietly - she is better than Gary!

Anyway, the point is, anyone can enjoy shooting; from small bore target shooting competitions to aiming at targets in the back garden with an air rifle to clay shooting with a shotgun, it can all be exhilarating fun.
